Calculation Methodology & Governance
How we verify statutory tax data, ensure mathematical accuracy, and adhere to strict editorial standards for Your Money, Your Life (YMYL) content.
1. Official Government Sources Only
NetPay Worldwide does not rely on secondary aggregators, user submissions, or unverified rule estimates. Every tax bracket, social contribution cap, and statutory credit is sourced directly from official government tax administrations and labor ministries:
- Australia: Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and Fair Work Ombudsman.
- New Zealand: Inland Revenue Department (Te Tari Taake / IRD) and Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC).
- Singapore: Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board.
- United Arab Emirates: Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE) and General Pension & Social Security Authority (GPSSA).
- Netherlands: Belastingdienst (Dutch Tax and Customs Administration) and Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW).
2. Pure Calculation Engine Architecture
Calculations are powered by @netpay/calc-engine, a pure, framework-agnostic TypeScript library with 100% automated test coverage.
Gross-to-Net: Applies statutory social insurance caps, calculates taxable income base, executes progressive tier evaluations, applies phase-out curves for tax credits, and yields exact take-home pay.
Net-to-Gross & Reverse: Solves inverse wage equations using monotonic binary convergence with an epsilon tolerance of $0.005 (less than half a cent), ensuring exact round-trip symmetry.
3. Human Review & Scheduled Verification
To prevent stale data, tax files are managed in a strict version-controlled schema. Every change is verified by qualified tax specialists and chartered accountants prior to publication:
4. Engineering & Design
NetPay Worldwide is built and designed by Agenor Services Pty Ltd (www.agenorit.com.au), combining statutory tax mathematical modeling, ultra-fast client-side execution, and Apple Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) design standards.
